I have an inground pool with jets to drive debris toward the drain. However, the jets do not work, and I'm pretty sure my main drain line is not hooked up properly, if at all. There is a pipe in my pump room that just stops and doesn't hook up to the pump. How can I check to see if this pipe is hooked up to my main drain?

Before I say how you might test the dead leg pipe, can you post a picture of the setup?
So you don't see any help at all when something is moved to the main drain area of the pool?
