My circupool si45plus is reading 4200ppm and my test strip is reading 4000ppm. Is this too high? Everything is working great, just didn't remember what the recommended salt level is?
No, you won't have problems until around 5000+, you are quite safe at 4200. And if the salt level does somehow get too high, the SWG will shut it's self off before any permanent damage occurs.
Also, all of the salt tests are +-400, so 4200 and 4000 are the same reading given the precision of the test.
