    We opted not to have deck right under top rails because it is easier for the winter (leaf) cover to be installed and excess rolled under the rails.

    Aren't the boards too close to the pool? Pool moves and the boards might damaged the walls and then linear.

    That's we thought too, but the builder assured us that when the PT lumber shrinks/dries it will leave a gap.

    I think he was right. I forgot about that

    I built the deck level on the AG we had on the last house, definitely was a bear trying to wrap the winter cover under the rail...I like yours !
    18' x 36' IG Vinyl 30K gallon, Hayward 1 1/2 HP pump and DE Filter hardpiped, Aqua Pro 1300 Electric Heat Pump.
    TF100 Test Kit on order !
    Commercial Popcorn machine, sno cone machine and cotton candy machine, lost my red nose.

    I see you have an Intex pool ladder by the trampoline. I wonder how many of us started with an Intex pool?

    We have had two intex pools over the years. We left them up year-round. Great pools for the price.
