Old Polaris 140

When we bought our house back in the summer it came with an old Polaris 140. It was doing a good job, but late in the fall it stopped working (does nothing). I have seen online that parts are still available for it so would like to fix it to save money if possible. What parts normally wears out on this style cleaner?

If you consider getting a new suction cleaner, I would suggest The Pool Cleaner as it seems to get great review ... or the MX-8, great cleaner, but more parts to worry about.

I took it apart, there was a bad o-ring and the ball seat seems to be worn. Already replaced teh o-rings, going to replace the ball seat and bypass disk and see if that does it.
