pump / filter installation

my pool pump is a Hayward powerflo matrix. Could I install it slightly higher than ground level? This is for an above ground pool. The bottom of pool pump/filter would sit about halfway above ground level of pool. The base would not be above water line but a little lower than skimmer.

As long as the pumps intake is below the water line I think you would be ok.

yeah its about 3 feet off the ground. Now I have to get parts to hard plumb, yay.
