    NEW HERE AND SCARED

I have been in my house for two years and finally decided to open the pool. I just had my liner installed and not sure about my system that is located in the basement of my house I will take any advice on how to proceed

    Welcome to TFP!!!

What do you want to know?
Have you tried to briefly turn on the pump to see if it works?
Have you inspected the filter and cleaned the sand (although this may be hard with the equipment in the basement)?
Do you have one of the Recommended Test Kits?
Have you read all of Pool School?
    Is the pool still empty?
