Fine cracks in gel coat

We have a used fiberglass pool that we are about to install and have seen a couple of fine line cracks. These are single cracks that run with the sides of the pool or steps. Do these need to be fixed before install? Do they need to be fixed at all? If they do need to be fixed does anyone have a recommendation on repair companies?
