Chlorinating Pool

Just want to make sure I am correctly chlorinating pool. Based on CYA of about 30 my goal is 4. Pool on average uses 2-3ppm per
day so at the end of the day I add enough LC to bump up to 6 so at the end of the next day I'm back at 4, sometimes 3. Does this sound correct?

With CYA of 30, never let it drop below two. If you need to go past 4 for a target to do so-------then do! Everybodys' mileage varies somewhat.
