Does anyone use something like this to pull pool water to add to test vial? I hate getting my arm wet, then dripping on everything (like the blue scoop). I think I may buy something like that and add a hose to get down to 24" without getting wet. Would also be easier to fill vial to exact line. Just curious if anyone does this.

I just use a 4' length of 1/2" PVC pipe as a pipette. Your hands would have to be pretty small for your thumb to not be able to cap it. It cost less than a buck.

Best tool I ever heard of was a 3' scrap of 1.5" PVC. Drop it to 18" below the surface, put your hand on top to create the siphon (or is it vacuum?), pull it out of the water and hold it over the test canister, take your hand off, and viola! Test water from 18" down and your hands never get wet.

Wow!, 1.5" seem real big. Like the suggestion, hadn't thought of that. I have a bunch of .5" I'll use next time.
