Hi all,
I recently purchased a Hayward Ecostar pump from an online US retailer as it is not available in Australia. It work perfectly in every way except the clock remains stuck on whatever time I configure in the menu.
I suspect it might be because our electricity is 50hz rather than 60hz as in the US. Does that sound feasible?
For now I'll just run it 24 x 7 at 800 rpm (79 watts), which is still way less than the 1190watts x 4 hours per day of my old pump, but I might need to get an external controller to get full timer control.
