    Building spa in ground vault

I have a free standing spa that I want to drop in the ground, I seen a concrete block system but it looks to be a bit over kill.

Any other way to do this?

Depending on where you're located you could build a wall system out of "ground contact" rated treated lumber and plywood but I suspect that that'll be close to the cost of a cinder block wall.
