Hi everyone,
I have a few questions regarding an upcoming order I am about to place for a spa cover. We have a Jacuzzi model 1508 outside our cabin in Tahoe, and it gets exposed to some pretty severe winter weather.
I'm wondering a few things. First, the thickness...our current cover is a 4" one with 2.0# foam but I'm wondering whether we should invest in the 6" tapered cover with the same foam density.
Also, does anyone have any opinion on options like an insulated hinge seal (adds a small piece of insulation across the cover fold), or extra thick vapor barriers? For reference, I'm looking here http://www.hottubcoverdepot.com/buy-spa-cover/?meas_a=89&meas_b=89&shape=square Will these sorts of upgrades make a difference?
