Fatal Funnel Wasp traps - Coming Review

Just bought some of these. Yellow Jackets are taking over my swimming area. Will post my placement, recipe, and results when I have them. Anyone own these?

They will work, you will catch as many as 50-100 wasp a week.

The problem is the nest has thousands of wasp in it and they make more a lot faster than the trap can catch them. You need to find the nest and kill it, not the wasp. Find the nest, then wait until late dusk, and pour a couple of ounces of stright gasoline on the hole (they nest in the ground). The fumes will kill every wasp overnight.

footnote: DO NOT light the gas, just let the fumes kill the wasp.

Pretty much correct. If they are yellowjackets, you can have several traps but they won't get rid of the problem. I don't recommend messing with gasoline. Get some Drione dust (can be found on internet) and dust the entrance hole (there may be more than one) when it is dark out. Or, better yet, you can do the safe thing and use an exterminator.
