Hi,
I am re-doing my plumbing and have a question about Spa make-up return.
In page 2 (Basic Pool & Spa Combination Plumbing) of this link
http://instantpoolparts.com/manualfiles/PoolTech/Plumbing_Schematics.pdf, there is a jandy valve and a check valve right after the heater.
I am wondering if I can remove that make-up loop and use the existing 3-way valve to control the spa make-up return. Can I just leave that 3-way valve slightly open so that some water can flow to Spa return? Of course, I will install a check valve in the SPA return line. In my proposed setup, I can save a 2-way jandy valve. Any comments?
