    My modest oasis

It may not be the fanciest around, but it's still my own private paradise and I'm glad to have it.

A sparkling pool, seats in the shade, a fire pit, a grill and a lounger ... what more do you need

A couple of beers, some meat on the grill, and a few guests, but that's about it!

Yep, looks like a nice place to have a grill and a cold beer. Hang out take a dip. We all need some refuge, and mine isn't fancy either, but it's better than some.

Looks great isn't it nice to be able to relax by the pool. We have the same pool and a small patio like yours

Rest and relaxation! Nothing modest about that!! Ditto on the beers, but brats instead of burgers... oh heck, invite lots of people and have both!! Enjoy!

Looks GREAT to me! I have a similar/same pool and will be happy if I get my yard to look even half as nice as yours does! Looking at your setup makes me want to fire up the grill and go for another swim!

Thank you for all the nice comments! It's nice to know that so many people see it the same way I do. Here's some pics of what it looked like before, just to show that a lot of hard work can go a long way. Now if you'll excuse me, I think I hear the water calling for me!

It would look better with a bunch of bikini babes in the picture.

But I bet you knew that already.

    Simple but functional, and elegant.

At least yours is done and usable, lol, mine is still all dirt and rock...

I hope ours ends up being that nice.

I agree with everyone else though, (except for the beer, lol, I don't drink), so when does the party start?
