We just finished filling our 24 foot round AGP holding 15,600 gallons I'll get my signature going soon. Using a sand filter and it has been running less than 12 hours. I've been reading here since we decided to get a pool and many thanks for all the great info.
I tested just a little while ago, and
FC = 2
Ph = 6.8
CC = 0
TA = I confess I actually stopped at 20 drops...it was pink but not what I'd call red.
I also have a sock going with CYA as we speak.
I understand that I need to get my FC up, but I'm a little unsure about PH...I know it is low, but the TA is out of this world (right) and I think I understand that aeration is a good way to increase PH without increasing TA, but that's slow...should I just move on with borax and worry about the TA later?
