Just opening my pool. I have a new Blue Pearl and was wondering when I should start using it? Do I need to wait until the water is clear, or go ahead and put it in to help clean?
If your pool is an awful mess with tons of leaves, solids, etc., the Blue Pearl (or any cleaner) will be overwhelmed. Get out ALL the solids that you can rake out with a leaf net and then put your robot in there.
If it gets clogged up from too much junk, mine cuts off before the 90 minute cycle is up and I have to clean the bag and then restart it.
I dont have alot of solids, mainly just dead algae. Thought it might help keep it stirred up and filter out better? Just worried at this high chlorine level it might damage the bot?? Thanks for the reply.
