    Broken Pressure Guage

I'm getting no reading on my pressure gauge, so I'm assuming it is non-functional. Any special instructions for this or just screw the old one out screw a new one in?

If its a typical sand filter, the yes, screw the old one out, teflon tape the threads on the new one, and screw it in!

Exactly what you said. Put a few wraps of t-tape on it and screw it in. Hand tight is usually good enough. If it's not, you can always tighten it a little more.
