Most above ground robots will only work in a pool with a completely flat bottom and vertical sides. The in ground robots are able to traverse slopes. The in ground robots are also usually designed for larger pools than the average above ground robot.
thanks for the reply my inground has aflat bottom with a 2ft 45 degree slope up to bottom of pool walls so actual flat is 10x24 I like the idea of robots because of extra filtering plus not interfering with skimmer since i didn`t plumb in extra suction line. have also heard good things about ''the pool cleaner'' any advice??? thanks
There are so many choices in pool cleaners, none of them perfect. It is difficult to recommend anything in particular. The Pool Cleaner has had a number of positive comments.
