I have a small intex AGP with small cartridge filter and want to add some of the granular cya i purchased from walmart. What is the proper method for doing this?

Put it in a sock and tie the sock in front of the return flow of water, where it will dissolve slowly. Retest for the CYA in 5-7 days.

My old socks tend to have big holes in them. Won't the powder run right out the toe? :P

Troublefree does not mean Maintenancefree. It's like brushing your teeth: You can spend a couple minutes a day and pennies a week or go to the dentist once a year and spend several thousand dollars.
