I am newly opening our pool! Already started with the chlorine Poolife active cleaning caplets, shock, fungicide and calcium from the pool store! Have the Poolife OTO test kit. Can you swith to the BBB method at anytime? How long after a shock can you swim, mine is high after the shock.

No matter which form of chlorine you have been using in the past you can switch to BBB at any time.
You can swim any time the FC level is between the minimum and shock level for your current CYA level. See the CYA/Chlorine chart to figure out what your shock level is.
