Hi, my name is EJ and I'm new to this forum..
I recently canceled my pool cleaning services due to cost and the guy is not really doing a good job...
2 weeks ago I woke up with a green cloudy pool, i checked the skimmer basket and I found a WEIRD looking rock, I didn't think anything of it at that time until I started watching ytubes videos, then it all of a sudden hit me!! My pool [emoji474] guy sabotage my pool..I'm not sure [emoji848] what he did, but I now have MUSTARD ALGAE infestation....

I used the Clorox pool n spa app to figure out on how to fix the problem...
Results were positive, except the mustard algae on the floor is very slow to disappear!!
I went to Leslie's pool spa store today, and the guy recommended the YELLOW OUT and powder shock, but I found that process to be expensive...
Is there any cheaper way to do this?
Thanks

Re: Stains

One is living algae. The other is a stain, for example tannins from leaves.

OMG, thank you very much,
TANNINS!
And I think my pool guy did it on purpose!! He was butt hurt when I canceled my account!! He didn't do a good job though! I thought what he was doing was very good!!!
After reading, watching, asking I finally figured it out, I just got to get me a good tester kit
