Protecting filter and heater exterior

Hello,

I have a new pool with a pentair cartridge filter and gas heater. Does anyone recommend putting Armor All or some type of coating on the exterior to protect it and keep it looking new? I am thinking thinking I do this for the plastic exterior of my car to keep it looking new, why not for the filter and heater.

Does anyone recommend or not recommend this?

Hi Mike,
There isnt a TFP recommendation - or not, in doing that, but there is nothing wrong with using armoral to keep your equipment looking nice.

Yes- but not armor all it will be a sticky mess before you know it. I put car wax past on heater & spa side displays.

Just regular car wax, like Turtlewax?
