So

after a few days of rain, i did a full round of testing with my tf100 kit.
i knew i had to adjust TA and Ph since the last time I tested, but the weather has been so crappy I decided to wait.

my numbers for today
FC 5
CH 50
TA 40
CYA 50
Ph 6.8

I decided to adjust my TA first and in 48 hrs i'll adjust the Ph
so i plugged my number in pool math, it told me to add 68oz of baking soda.... BUT i didn't notice the goal was 100!!!!!! So I added way too much if my TA goal is in fact 60-80!

What do I do now?

pH is way more important than TA. pH needs to come up immediately.

Don't worry about TA at all until you can monitor your pH for a week or so.

Hello! :calm: Based on those numbers, my #1 concern is the low pH. It's very corrosive right now and needs to be raised with Borax. So use the calculator to get the pH back into the mid-7 range right away. Once you get the pH back to the mid-7s, then re-test the pH and TA. If the TA is at least 50 or so, just leave it alone for now.

On a side note, watch your FC and CYA okay. You have a SWG pool, so your CYA should be at least 70 to protect your FC. :)
