    Welcome to TFP!!!

Have you done much reading of Pool School?

What do you think needs to be added? We are here to teach people how to maintain their pools.

    How does the water look?

You numbers certainly look better than many new members.

Those numbers look pretty good the CC might be a little bit of a concern and with cloudy water you might need to SLAM. Have you done any reading in Pool School the ABC's perhaps? How old is the pool and how has it been maintained till now.

Can you fill out your signature with the details about your pool read THIS for an idea of what we are looking for it will speed things along a bit. To get to your signature there is a link in the "quick links" drop down menu at the top of this page under the Rules button.

    Re: New test kit

With cloudy water, and a significant CC number, you need to follow the ShockLevelAndMAINTAIN Process.

Although I would suggest a little reading prior to you understand some of the chemistry:
    ABCs of Water Chemistry
    Recommended Pool Chemicals
