    CYA standard

    What is the shelf life of the 50 ppm CYA standard? More specifically, would the standard I bought spring 2015 still be reliable?
    21' x 41' vinyl in ground pool, 26500 gal. 1 hp Hayward pump, 4 wheel suction side The Pool Cleaner, Hayward EC-75 DE filter, Hayward SUMXL 140 heat pump, TF100 test kit with stirrer.

    Stored in a cool, shaded location the standard will be good at least 18 months from production. CYA should be especially stable as a standard.
