I bought a house 6 years ago with a salt water pool. The first summer was easy so soon after I had the liner replaced. then the salt cell, then some issues with board, and the Polaris, then a Polaris motor, or something like that. does it ever go back to that easy summer?

Sounds like most of your stuff is new now so it should be back to easy livin!
I've had more easy than hard. And just think if the pool store was polluting your pool with a bunch of stuff you don't need and costs a lot!
