Spa cover

Hello me spa cover had à zipper closure.
is iT important to open this zipper ones à month.

Is iT possible that i have water in iT 8 months old, THE cover is not broken so i can see.


it seems likt that THE cover is heavier but i don,t not sure.

It's a good idea to open the zipper every once in a while to check the plastic that covers the foam cores. Most spa covers have a foam core inside the Zippered cover and they are usually wrapped with a water proof Plastic to keep them from absorbing water. A problem that arises from all the warm water vapor from the Hot Spa water is that the foam core of a spa cover can eventually become saturated, as water molecules work their way into the millions of tiny hollow spaces inside the foam. You will notice the cover getting heavier if water has penetrated the plastic covering the foam cores.
