Interesting thought. Out of curiosity I might get it checked. Where do you think the salt would come from? My old SWG pool was about 25K gallons and would take about 2800 PPM salt. That would mean that this pool, that has never had salt added to it, would have about 1200 PPM salt...

I have a builder who would void our warranty if we went with SWG (we have a lot of rock and he says it will pit the rock over time). I installed a Stenner in the summer and love it. It is as close to an SWG as you can get without having one. In my last pool we did have an SWG and we loved it...

Thank you everyone for the great advice. I just ordered the pump and have a couple of days to figure out what I want to do. I am leaning toward the drain plug on the Nature 2.

I think what happened was they sealed it the first time and did not cover it then dirt got on it. Then they ended up sealing again and sealed in some dirt. They will strip and reseal. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Pebble is in! Acid wash tomorrow and then we start filling. As for the wall we are going to paint it to match the stairs and there will be plants in front of it. I think putting on stone facing would be too much stone. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Even without the cleaner that sounds like it could be bearings. Try running it with the cleaner but if you hear the sound again shut it off and call the installer. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

We picked the Aqua Blue and will put the shimmering shells in it. No I don't think they slowed the slide down. Luckily it's got high walls to keep us in it. The side of the slide is stuccoed with grey for now but will be matched to the house. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
