    Is this a good choice?

I did my own. It is a lot of work but save a lot. Again, level ground is key. Don’t skimp on measuring. I highly recommend a sod cutter to remove the grass. If not, it can come back. Make sure to put a veggie killer down before sand or whatever you use. When I did my research, I decided...

Please get the TF-100 test kit. It has everything you need. I just re-ordered the CYA tester cause I ran out keeping everything up to date. From what I have learned, test strip are generally not as accurate as testing with chemicals (did I mention, get the TF-100  ). As I try to get...

    Opinion on Sharkline AG pool

Purchased my first AG and installed myself (more work than I ever thought :hammer: ). I purchases a Sharkline from Almont pools. Pool was $2000 cheaper than the same Sharkline pool from the local store. Pool came shipped with motor freight included in price. Came with wide mouth Hayward...

Opinion on foam cove and bottom

Built my first AG pool. Wanted to do foam coves and Gorilla bottom to save "time" and save the liner. Total cost for my 15x30 for both was around $300. Foam cove - Not recommended. Was easy to build but only gave about 3 inch bottom/side coverage. Self adhesive backing was nice but in hot...

    Thanks! & question on CYA

First, a big thanks to all. I bought an AG and couldn't find anyone to put it in. So I did it myself. It was hard but it looks pretty good. Took a month but did it all with the help of TFP. I have used BBB for 3 weeks and water is still clear and wonderful! I will post pictures soon...

    Suggestions on how much sand.

Installing my 15x30 AG pool. I assume I want 2 inches of sand on the bottom. After calculation, there is about 67 cubic feet of sand needed. Does that convert to tons? I am assuming also I would want masons sand? Any other suggestions about the sand portion would be appreciated. This is...

Cart. filter suggestion: Hayward or Penair?

Looking for a cartridge filter for 15x30 AG pool. Will be using Pentair 1HP Dynamo 2speed pump. Both Hayward and Pentair have nice filters. Does anyone have pro or cons on either (Ease of disassembly, filter replacement cost, etc)? Basically, what do you use and do you like it? Thanks

How to determine low speed flow of 2 speed pump?

Actually found another thread saying that flow is cut in half on low speed. Guess this answers my question.

How to determine low speed flow of 2 speed pump?

Looking at Pentair Dynamo 2 speed 3/4 hp pump. They give flow chart for high speed but no low. How can I determine if this pump can handle my pool on low speed without the flow dynamics of the pump at low speed? (I have already calculated total head and flow needs of my setup) Head 25 100...
