Been there, done that. Thankfully the pump only ran a few hours with no water before I caught it. Called my PB and he said welcome to the club and no worries the pump is forgiving.

I add acid when pH is 8. But only enough to get it to 7.6 My SWG pool settles in at 7.8 for about a week or so before I need to add more acid. I used to try to knock it back to the lower 7s but it was just a waste of acid since it quickly rose and stabilized at 7.8

Cold day this spring I noticed something on the living rm floor - it was a garter snake. Most likely came in where we had a piece of weather strip missing on the storm door. I slowly picked it up and took it to show my wife. My ears were ringing from the scream :) and the dogs came running to...

How often do you have to add water to pool? Every time we have a Golden Retriever pool party with up to 6 Goldens - 3 of ours and 3 friends'. They're like sponges and get out quite often. Generally about 1 - 2 inches if there had been no heavy rain recently.

I have this one and changing the on/off times is a pain. I need to use a needle nose pliers to snug those on/off tabs and even then sometimes they loosen. It was the only one available locally when I had the heater installed.

The point I was trying to make about the syringe is you use the markings on the syringe to measure. It's more precise. And inexpensive. Then you are not (in my case) squinting to see some notch on the vial or worrying about over shooting the mark.

Not sure if mentioned before, but no need for markings on the vial. Get a $3 60ml veterinary syringe.

the 2006C has CYA tester. It's the smaller tube (in the picture above) on the pH tester. The plastic bottle front and center is where you mix the R 0013.

It's like a pet, you need to feed it daily. Like Marty said, very average and could go up to 56 oz (4ppm) on high UV days.

1st time in about 6 weeks the humidity was not oppressive. Celebrated with a fire.
