    Issue with intex salt system

The problem is, intex salt system shuts down if it indicates high/low salt, low pump flow or service. So it won’t work at all. Yah I did just that, tested to see when I got the indication. I could try adding more salt but that would make the level too high, unless the unit is old like you said...

    Issue with intex salt system

So, today my salt system read low salt. However when tested to confirm the salt level actually came back kinda high. I have had my intex salt system now for 3 yrs. I’m trying to determine if my salt system may be malfunctioning. I guess I could go throw in a couple more bags of salt but based on...

    Massive Chlorine loss

Hi, long time lurker, and have posted in here a few times a couple yrs ago between today and yesterday my pool has lost almost all chlorine. I read in another thread from someone else who had a similar issue. Someone had suggested that she may have aminia present due to critters that cause...

    filter pump

it sounds like the plug may need to be replaced. I had that this yr with out sand filter. if you change out the plug on the end, it'll no longer have that test and reset feature, but will still run properly. they wear out after a while. Sent from my SAMSUNG-SM-G928A using Tapatalk

    Take down or close?

they've been pretty good but like you I've had to adjust running times, & raven at times add bleach. FC seemed to drop after rain. not bad cuz cya,was normal but with it raining day after day it kinda made it hard to keep everything running smoothely. Sent from my SAMSUNG-SM-G928A using Tapatalk

I know I hate this weather we have very had this year. the pool has gone green on me twice and I'm running a,swg. rain water must have a huge impact on chlorine levels and whatnot. Sent from my SAMSUNG-SM-G928A using Tapatalk

you mean the inlets. the return is where the water returns in the pool. inlets are for suction. oh ok. I think I still have those black hat shaped plugs. if not I will just drain just below the holes in liner. Sent from my SAMSUNG-SM-G928A using Tapatalk

    My pool is a swamp

sorry I misspelled muriatic acid. Google keeps telling me it's wrong although I now have it right + no proper suggestions. I guess it doesn't recognise that word. Sent from my SAMSUNG-SM-G928A using Tapatalk

    My pool is a swamp

I would use the liquid chlorine, and try not to use the shock bags. they add cya. if your cya gets much higher your FC will also need to be much higher to be effective. the shock bags can also add combined chlorine. normally you would use Murionic acid to lower ph, but this yr I was using...

no imean leave it covered all winter. don't uncover. and try and cover it before the leaves fall. like beginning of next month like around the 1st or 3rd, so they can't get in there. Sent from my SAMSUNG-SM-G928A using Tapatalk

    Take down or close?

I would just leave it. mine is already drained down quite a bit cuz of vacuuming to waste. I went out of town for 3 weeks and nobody took care of it or maintained it. so I came back home to a green pool. I got it cleared up tho. gonna leave enough water in there so the pump can run, so I can...

would the original cover that came with the pool be sufficient for use as a winter cover or should I get a winter cover? what about those big air pillows that claim to absorb freezing water from top of pool cover that you put on top? do they work? Sent from my SAMSUNG-SM-G928A using Tapatalk

    Take down or close?

I have an intex ultraframe 18/52 pool. I live in clarksville tn. most recommend you take the intex pool down every season to avoid damage to the lining or structural damage. however, last year at end of season, after going to the trouble of taking it down, we had a very mild winter. the winter...

you're gonna need some supports for those walls when it fills. they're gonna bulge out. Sent from my SAMSUNG-SM-G928A using Tapatalk

yah you have to kick out the wrinkles before you put water in it. or use a pool brush to help knock them out. the weight of the water will make it impossible to get the wrinkles. Sent from my SAMSUNG-SM-G928A using Tapatalk

no. the beams outside the pool are to help support the sides and keep it from bulging. Sent from my SAMSUNG-SM-G928A using Tapatalk
