    Pebble Picture Thread

Thanks. I was really happy with the end result especially given that I was not on the ground for the build at all. When I arrived during Xmas time the only thing left to do was the glass beads and water fill. So I was a bit anxious during the entire build as receiving pics every now and then...

    How deep for tanning ledges?

I have not used any lounge chairs yet. Mainly kids play area for now but 9" is not that deep so low lounge chairs should work fine. Yes, the bubblers work just fine with 9" of water. I mean they aren't spraying out like a fountain but they bubble enough to give the effects and sound I want and...

New Pool Build - Naples, Florida

So I have a question I was hoping some of you experts with experience can help me on. There are two things I am still deciding on. (1) pool operation controls: Originally I opted for the wall mount control panel inside the house combined with spa side remote. However, when they wanted to drill...

New Pool Build - Naples, Florida

With HK real estate prices, I've been a renter for the last 10 years. It is very difficult to leave Florida and the new pool and house especially since it's about 5x bigger than our tiny apartment in HK but unfortunately the job is in HK.

New Pool Build - Naples, Florida

Quick question for anyone that has used pebble whether stone or glass or combo. Is it normal for some of the glass beads to fall off? I was walking in the pool as it was filing and I noticed my feet feeling some random pieces of the glass beads that have come off. I suppose perhaps this is normal?

New Pool Build - Naples, Florida

Christmas Eve and the crew was finally installing the pool interior. Still needs acid wash before filling. Hoping to have this done on Saturday and have a pool ready to swim by Monday next week. After they washed off the surface with water a lot of the glass beads were showing. I can't wait...

New Pool Build - Naples, Florida

After over two weeks, I was finally able to get someone to go take pictures of the progress on my pool. Two weeks until target completion date that PB promised but seems like a lot to do still. Next week will be equipment and lights. The following week will be jewelscape glass bead and two...

New Pool Build - Naples, Florida

Quick question guys...if I am using jewelscape (all glass beads) for the pool surface, does it need brushing? I keep reading here on various threads that you must brush after the surface is installed. My PB tbasically said hey fill the pool he day after the glass beads are installed and that's...

New Pool Build - Naples, Florida

New Pool Build - Naples, Florida

They told me that the most important thing is to get the travertine on the footer that borders the entire deck. That will be done early next week. This way the screen enclosure guys can come measure and start fabricating the two story screen enclosure that will be installed. Apparently this...

New Pool Build - Naples, Florida

Really? I thought 18" depth would be too deep for loungers but good to hear that it works. My intention was to make it a different depth compared to my other sun deck that is 9" deep. I figured 18" is like a kiddy pool and a nice wading pool for adults to sit and relax.

New Pool Build - Naples, Florida

Thanks! It took a lot of going back and forth to get to the final dimensions. I knew I wanted a more modern geometric shaped pool. The reason I positioned the sunshelf with the bubblers and the spa on the left side of the pool was to have an open full length lane of the pool for swimming the...

New Pool Build - Naples, Florida

Latest pics...not much development. All I see is prep work for footers surrounding the border of the pool deck getting reading for screen enclosure. Also prep work for water line tile.
