I CAN NOT keep my pH under control this year. Never had this problem in 5 seasons. I can bring my pH down one day and it is back to 8+ the next day. I don't have any major aeration of the water other than some ripples in the shallow end from that return jet. Can anyone help? TA is 70 FC stays...

On to the next problem... Last year I just had sporadic bubbles out of this jet. This year it started up tons of tiny bubbles. I cannot keep my pH down. I will lower it and it is back up within a day. I know it is these bubbles. It is only the right jet in my steps. No other jets. Help!

Do you consider when the color changes from green to that first tint the actual red , or do you quit when it completely turns red? This would be the difference between 50 and 60 to me and a big variation in how much baking soda to add.

When you backwash, how long (in minutes) do you leave the pump on backwash and then rinse? Maybe I am not backwashing long enough. The water in the shallow end seems very clear, nearly crystal. My deep end is what is now hazy, however I could read a coin on the bottom.

What I mean is I tested this am, FC was 4. I put enough in it per calculator to get it to 10. When I tested this eve it was 3.5. So, I did not test again after I added it to confirm it reached to 10. When I use the Great Value brand bleach, I consistently get right on my target so I never retest...

The bleach I used today has a code 180177. Does this mean it was 2018 bleach? If so, there's my problem for today's big loss.
