The problem is my gas pipe is too small. I'm hoping a 266 btu raypak would work.

Is the length from the gas meter in the lamp post to the pool heater? IF so it is about 80' away. I called the gas company and they said 7 wc. So the only wat to get a 250but is to increase it the line to 1 1/4"? Is that internal dimension?

The gas meter is about 30 feet from our house in a lamp post and the gas line from the heater location to the outside of the house is about 50 feet. How do I find out the service pressure?

pooldv- When I read about ph some say 7.2 and others say 7.5 - 7.8. But what I'm trying to figure out to have less algae issue should it be 7.2 or closer to 7.8? Also will either be ok for kids?
