Took about 14 months. I was able to get some parts replaced with warranty. That ship has sailed, now it is on me.

Mine did the same thing. The plastic gears wear out after a while. I purchased both right and left front brush assembly on Amazon. Fixed the problem! I wish I had a 3d printer. I have replaced so many parts that have plastic gears that wear out on this cleaner.

A umbrella sleeve is not a bad idea. That would look good for resale no questions asked. Might even be a DIY project. Lower water, drill out pipe, drill deep enough for sleeve, epoxy the sleeve in!

I cut the bottom out of a garbage can. I then slid can over the chlorine tank. I then stuffed various types of bubble wrap between tank and garbage can. Believe it or not it keeps tank cool. I also put bubble wrap on the top of the tank and the garbage can lid on top of the garbage can.

Gear box split open again making the cleaner not work at all. I was able glue it back with PVC glue. Cleaning like brand new again.

Not sure how thick the concrete is , probably 4 inches. You could rent a concrete saw and cut it out perfectly square ( 1 or 2 pieces ) . Once finished put stabilized sand in hole, won't take much and then put concrete back.

If you do a gas insert make sure it has a built in blower unit. My fireplace inside has one and it keeps the den nice and toasty. The outdoor insert does not have one and we have to close the damper to force heat out. Wish I could install a blower but this unit will not accommodate one.

You can adjust the jet nozzle on the back to make it not climb the walls all the way to the top. You will have to play with it to get the adjustment just right for your pool. Love my Quattro :)

I called Polaris warranty department directly to get my parts. My gearbox split open at the seams and they sent me a new one very quick.

I have had my Polaris Quattro over 1 year and have had no issues with it. Did replace the tires but Pebble Tech pool will wear them down.

Maybe just angle of the picture but I see no pipes coming and going from heater.

I agree with the setting being to high. I might try wrapping something around the sensor to make it not so sensitive.

I have Pentair equipment also and mine does the same thing in freeze mode. Spa emptying half way and refilling. The good thing is no pipes are freezing up.

Maybe the switches on back of the actuators are switched wrong ( a + off + b ). I am sure you did this but in spa mode the spa suction should be on. The spa return should be on. Double check that the actuators are in the correct position. Just the opposite in pool mode. If actuator does not move...

Is your Racer still under warranty. When mine was I called Pentair and they sent me a new one. They know it is a poor design, just like the Racer

Asking for my neighbor. Can anyone identify who the manufacturer of this spa assembly is. Trying to find out what spa jets go with it. PB just installed return eyeballs so not powerful like true spa jets.
