knee-high vs skimmer sock vs hair nets

I have been using panty hose, but I tie some knots in the legs up to the crouch area and cut the legs off. I find it easier to get the waist part over my basket than the leg part.So I just turn them inside output my hand in the clean side and rinse off and put it back on and they seem to last me...

I just found out my pool light wont go on. Haven't really tried it in over 6 months mostly because it's so bright like a train coming at you glaring right in your eyes, so we usually just leave it off. I would like to go to a much less brighter one because of where it is located in the pool...

    Adding thru the Skimmer ??

I thought I read on here someone said it was ok to do if it is diluted. Since I only have to add such small amounts at a time I was hoping it would be diluted enough before it hits the pump/heater. I hope I havent caused any damage being lazy since my surgery. I better go back to the old bucket...

    Plumbing Question

I been wondering what these pipes are for outside my pool deck ever since I have been here. I never seen anything come out of them since they are both capped I'm guessing the builder put them in if you wanted to maybe add a different type system in the future? Could they be to the floor drains...

Raising the CYA up with Trichlor pucks

Thanks Richard, So do you think I would be better off just getting some stabilizer and use that instead of the trichlor pucks? I just thought I would use up whats left behind before they went bad or maybe I should save them in case I have to go away for awhile. Pool math says 12-13 oz of...

I guess I have another dumb question here guys. I've been trying to figure exactly how my plumbing works each part of the pools system when the pump is running.
