So still high this morning. Is it safe to add a Chlorine/Bromine neutralizer that I can get at Leslie pool supply? Or will that cause other unwanted issues? Thanks!

    SPA Cover question

Do you know anything about these new cover materials they use. The 5"-3" one from hottubcoverspot.com uses one call PYREX? She said it's like Sunbrella and is a $29.99 upgrade. Do you think it's worth it over traditional Vinyl? Thanks!

    SPA Cover question

Hi All, Quick question - Is there a BIG difference in efficiency to get one of the below over the other? I'm in Central California where winter temps get down to 40's and maybe a freeze here and there but no snow. Cover 1 - 30oz Marine Vinyl, 83" x 83" with 5" skirt , 4"-2" taper with 2lb...

Well I know it is NOT the gasket now. This went from fun to really fun in 1.2 seconds. The spa jet body the part the jet screws into has a major crack. So next question. Where can I find this style and how in the heck do I remove the pipes connected is there a special way like twist and pull or...

Hello all, I hope you can help give me advice. I got a new spa from auction that obviously had a issue from factory. Found a very small leak like 1 drop every 3 seconds or so. So they put this black stuff everywhere to try and fix it, but obviously it's not where they put it. So 2 questions...

Thank you both for replying. My spa only take 1 double pole 50amp breaker. I would have ran it from the Main breaker, but when the pool was built all the conduit was already laid from the Intellicenter load center to different locations and one being the spa area. The main panel is on the...

Helping neighbor out with cloudy pool after big weekend

Ok tested his water earlier and CYA at 60, TA a little high at 90, and FC at 13ppm. I figure once we get to below FC 10ppm and adjust PH down to 7.2 that should help bring down TA to 70 or 80. I had him turn on his SWG to 35% and continue running pump 24/7 until we bring PH down and everything...

Helping neighbor out with cloudy pool after big weekend

So your saying if his CYA is now at 70 because we added Instant Conditioner, then his Free Chlorine should be 7? Also, what should the Chlorine test kit read that reads simple Chlorine up to 4ppm? Is that considered Total chlorine levels or ? Thanks!
