Houston Texas Above Ground Pool Question - Winter

Hi there.... probably one of the best investments I've ever made is a robot pool cleaner... from dolphin... it learns the shape of your pool and runs for a certain amount of time then automatically switches off... i leave it in my pool over winter and only take it out every 3-4 days to empty it...

What did I inherit with this new house?

IMHO... I would take this opportunity to upgrade to a vs pump... the savings alone means it will pay for itself in a very short amount of time.. Im not a great lover of DE filters as i believe a good cartridge filter works almost as well as a DE filter... less the messing about with carcinogens...

    curious filter question

I agree with tim.... i put a similar question To inyopools and they said its all about microns... it is possible to do 2 filters.. but double the work... cut a long story short.... even with 2 filters you are only filtering down to whichever filter does the smallest microns... so if you have DE...

Small leak out of handle on top of a Pentair Tegelus TA-60D valve. Which Part?

How old is the filter...? If its a few years old.. then its a good idea to replace the o ring and the spider gasket while you have it apart... for the sake of a few dollars its worth changing both at the same time... save you alot of headaches later. Be sure to check the spring also... does the...

The 2 clear tubes are connected to whats called a T piece... then off the T piece is 1 white tube going to the inlet of the pump strainer basket.. then it flows to the filter which removes the dirt in the water... then it flows through your salt generator which makes chlorine gas and that then...

Plunger Valves & Help setting up Sand Filter etc 16x32x52 Intex

Hi there... the answer to your question is no... probably not... the 2 smaller hoses are of a different diameter to the white return hose... which means the pump will not be able to pull enough water in to fill the pump basket. (The clear plastic lid) Also your salt generator needs X amount of...

Trouble keeping dirt from getting into pool

Hi there.... You could try a small amount of DE powder and put it in your skimmer... that will trap the very fine particals of dust that your sand filter won't catch... keep an ey e on your pressure though... as it will rise a bit once you put it in.. if it rises to high... do a back wash and...

Moved Pump and Filter - Now no Suction. Help Please.

Sorry to chime in.... Quick Question - White Washer found in Multi-Port Valve

Theres normally a white wear washer that sits between the handle and the top of the stem of the multiport valve.(just below the pin for the handle).that allows the handle to turn without wearing out the valve unit itself.... how it ended up in there is anyone's guess. Sent from my SM-G950F...

    Leaking pool plumbing

The leak you are describing and pictured is on the pressure side of the system ... not the suction side of the pump. If the pump basket has air in it also... there is another leak in the pipe work or even the O ring on the pump lid. First thing i would do is check the o ring on the pump lid.make...
