Pentair Cartridge Filter Inflow and Outflow connections

Gotcha. I did tighten with a wrench so maybe that's my issue. I'll double check the oring and then hand tighten it. I'll also apply some lube which I didn't do.

Pentair Cartridge Filter Inflow and Outflow connections

After reconnecting the existing inflow and outflow PVC to the filter housing, I have a small leak on one of the two connections. Makes sense, thank you. So my pool water is 78F and fill water is 75F, not that much difference. Where do you recommend the sump pump be (deep or shallow) and the fill water be (deep or shallow) ? It will be raining here over the next couple of days, so I imagine the pool temp will drop a few...

Can water chemistry affect pool plaster ?

I have the TF-100. I did perform the CYA dilution test by mixing a cup of pool water and a cup of tap water. The result was 100. Assuming the CYA is high because of the tabs I've been using.
