Is there a difference? what would be the best to use on my Loop lock pool cover? I cannot use the stakes close as there are no holes for them so I need something to extend to the stakes.

I re did my patio and now the bricks are sealed and I cannot put the stakes in between. I have the Loop Lock type cover. Is it safe to use ratchets for the far away stakes? Are there any pictures on here of what other people do where they stakes are far from the pool ? Thanks
