Basket housing cracked. How do I remove from the plumbing?

It is possible. I live in Houston and we had a big freeze in Feb. My pool is set with freeze protection to run the pumps, we never lost power. But I can't be certain that it never froze.

Basket housing cracked. How do I remove from the plumbing?

My Starite pump basket housing cracked. I removed the clamp that separates the wet end from the dry end. My challenge is how do I disconnect from the plumbing based on the pictures below? Will I be able to remove the nut from the output connection and then spin the input connection off?

It is concrete with pebbles/rocks embedded in the surface. Not fancy, but durable. They started on the deck cover yesterday. Haven't had a chance to get any pictures of it yet. It will really reduce the sun problem we have in our great room. Sent from my VS986 using Tapatalk

JamieP, It is great to see progress. Our first build had the benefit of going through the back fence so our front yard was not damaged. At this house, that is not possible, so the yard damage is frustrating. They are going to do the iron work today with Gunite planned for tomorrow.
