We are getting a intermitttent Low salt light. Salt is ok at 3900 used salt strips , my salt meter and took sample to the pool store. All about the same readings. When the Low salt light comes on the unit goes into a low production mode. I have been adding liquid clorine to keep it going...

I put the big blue channel locks on mine and gave them and slight snugging .. That stoped the leaks .. Remember SLIGHT.

Ok the results are in and we are saving $40.00 per month on electric bill with this pump.

Does a SWG produce more clorine at low flow rates ?? My RJ60 seems to be making a lot more clorine after I installed A VS pump. I had to turn it down to 20% , Guess I will really find out next month when it get's hot. It's a good problem to have!!!

Phosphate remover will make your grids all nasty !!! And drain mony from you wallet !! Looks like that CYA of 35 might be the real issue ..

My RJ 60 is the same way , iam running it at 60% to get good flow with no lights .. Consider yourself lucky to run it at 45% !!!!!!

Have you adjusted the jets any ? Mine was blowing out on the deck and i turned the offending jet 180deg And problem solved .. You might be able to install a variable resister to throttle it back a little..

Anyone know where to get o-rings for the big white home depot 2" unions I went to HD tonight looking for one, they don't sell o-rings !!! They had a 2" union ( the one with 2 threded ends ) but the o-ring is thinner.
