Help! Low water line?? Air in system! Auto fill not on????

No, water does not come out when I push it. My son has been messing with water projects recently and I have a feeling he turned it off. I just can’t remember where to turn it on.

Help! Low water line?? Air in system! Auto fill not on????

So, I did notice before I started the backwash that it was barely over the skimmer flap. I shouldn’t have started the backwash, my bad. However, even with all of this I can usually always hear my auto fill going. I have the hose in the pool now. I forget where to turn on and off the...

Help! Low water line?? Air in system! Auto fill not on????

Hello! So, I went to backwash my pool just now and noticed the waterline was unusually low. The only thing I can think would cause that is a leak underground???? Then I continued to perform the backwash and new instantly there was something off. It was drawing in air from somewhere. There...

    Adjusting and retesting

Thank you! I thought the ph had to be fixed before chlorine was added. I’m finding it hard to keep my chlorine that high. I feel like I would need to adjust it 2-3 times a day to keep it at that level. I’ve taken care of my pool for years and have struggled with algae a couple times. Before...

    Adjusting and retesting

hello! Since slamming my pool it has been beautiful and maintainable ( imo). I do you the premium version of the app which is very helpful! My children swim most days. I have to add acid to lower ph almost daily. I also have to add a good amount of LC daily. Is this normal? My TA has...

    Won’t hold chlorine! Help!

Thank you! Great analogy! I love this site. I will download the app. I think I am getting the hang of this. I was just at the local pool store getting LC ( not Leslie's). They are very honest and refuse to sell you something you dont need. They have Tri- Chlor tabs there and he explained...

    Won’t hold chlorine! Help!

Thank you! I like LC so it does not add any of the extras but wow I had no idea I would have to be testing and adjusting daily. 🤦🏼‍♀️ I’m sure this is a stupid question but you say to keep it above”my” minimum. So, do I have my own personal minimum ? Or, is it just the 3-5 ppm range...

    Won’t hold chlorine! Help!

Hello! Okay, my pool has passed the three criteria to stop slamming the pool. I am now waiting for it to come down to swimming levels. At 5:30 this morning my FC was 23 and at 8:30pm tonight it was 13. My concern is that it seems to be dropping fast. At this rate, it will 3 ppm tomorrow...

    Won’t hold chlorine! Help!

    Won’t hold chlorine! Help!

So, it has been refilling for about 12 hours now and still not completely back up to the top. I am debating whether to keep the set up the same and discharge some then refill some or to try to switch the discharge hose to a regular garden hose. I worry the hose that I have may not be long...

    Won’t hold chlorine! Help!

Okay, it is draining. I started it 20 minutes ago. I have the hose on and in the skimmer. I am just wondering in my situation ( see picture) if this the best place or should I put the hose in the spa and let it naturally spill over?

    Won’t hold chlorine! Help!

Thank you ! In reading somewhere on here it said to keep the chemicals balanced the whole time during the water swap. This sounds like that would be very difficult to do and a waste of chemicals. Is this really necessary?

    Won’t hold chlorine! Help!

Gotcha! Thank you! I will start that process today. I think I may need a new pump now that I’m thinking. I believe I borrowed my neighbors last time I drained it. It’s there a good pump you would recommend?

    Won’t hold chlorine! Help!

Thanks ! So, I have a pebble teck pool. Is that not safe to drain either right now? I have been using liquid chlorine for a few months because I know the tabs cause a lot of extra stuff in the pool. So, I will always use liquid chlorine (forever)? and never tabs? I am currently using Sani...
