Is there a way to check if wires are 110 or 230 with a auto multimeter? The old pump is ancient and says on label 110/230 . New polaris booster pump that has option as 110 or 230, but not sure what voltage to wire on side of pump .

Can i drill trough equipment pad and put a copper rod into earth and connect lug on pump? Current pump looks like it from yhe dark ages and dosny have a bond.Or should i not bother as equipment is in its own shed. Thanks guys

So if pump dosen't prime, its only the suction side coming from pool thru pump right? And if theres a dscharge leak after pump to filter etc then it would never affect priming right? just leak when system is off right? (Could the copper to pvc union be old and leaking air? i do not see water...
