I run the SWG anywhere from 3-6 hours a day dependening on the weather. I get a lot of shade on the pool until around 3pm then lots of sun till dark.

I have an Intex 4000gph pump that I bought on Amazon a few years ago. We have that hooked up to our SWG. I usually run mine for around 12 hours a day. It helps keep our pool very clean even being under a huge tree. Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk HD

I will have to try the ziplock idea. We have 4 of those Walmart lights and we love them but I have noticed some moisture in them after we use them. We have been just opening them and letting them dry out every night but that is a pain in the butt!
