I ordered the wrong auto chlorinator. Help?

I got in a big rush and accidentally ordered an auto chlorinator for an in ground pool rather than above ground. By the time I realized my mistake, it had already shipped. It haven't received it yet. I have everything on my 26' Intex AG already hard plumbed with 1 1/2" pvc so hoping I can...

Diver Dave gets stuck for no apparent reason

Update: After surfing the web for some time, I followed the advice of another user and went through all the links in the hose, making sure they were all completely seated, even though the instruction manual says they don't have to be. This made a HUGE difference! Apparently, as the cleaner moves...

Diver Dave gets stuck for no apparent reason

We just purchased Diver Dave for our 28' Intex. I think he'd be a great cleaner if I didn't have to go out and give him a nudge every 20 minutes. Can any of you think of why it stops moving after awhile? It's usually when he gets to a wall. :?

I was thinking about contacting walmart. I didn't buy it at the store, we had to purchase it online and it was dropped shipped to our home. But I think I'll call walmart anyway ans see id they will order a replacement and when it arrives at the store, we will dismantle our defective one and take...

My ultra frame intex liner split!

We just set up our 26' Intex and realized water was coming from underneath. I contacted Intex and, of course, they want us to return the entire pool and they will ship a new one. It took 3 weeks to get this one! By the time we drain it, get it dry enough to ship back and wait for Intex to send a...

    Newly installed skimmer leaking!

All in all, I'm really glad we upgraded to the thru the wall skimmer. So much better than that wall attached skimmer that came with the pool. Worth the headache for sure.

    Newly installed skimmer leaking!

Oddly enough, over the past couple days, the leaks have mostly resolved themselves. Still a couple tiny trickles but not nearly as bad. I guess the gaskets have expanded or conformed enough to seal most of the screw holes. I will probably wait until it's time to winterize, then go ahead and add...

HydroTool skimmer install in intex 16x48

I've cranked those screws as tight as I can possibly get them. It's better but still leaking. Thinking about letting the water level drop and take the thing apart and siliconing the heck out of it on both sides of the liner.

HydroTool skimmer install in intex 16x48

I have just added a wide mouth skimmer to my 26' Intex pool. LEAKS like crazy. I haven't cut the opening out yet... figured I may have to let the water level drop , take it apart and use silicon or something. I have tightened as much as I can by hand and afraid of over tightening but you're...

    Newly installed skimmer leaking!

I just installed a through the wall, wide mouth skimmer (Hydro Tools 8939G) on my 26' x 52" Intex pool. I haven't cut the vinyl for the opening yet because I have quite a few leaks around the face plate assembly. Installed in this order beginning with water side: Face plate, gasket, liner...

The process of installing our Intex 26'x52" pool

We bought the same pool and are wating for it to ship. Should get it in about a week. Meanwhile we are having a contactor come to level and pack the site. I see that you used 1/4" fanfold insulation as underlayment. We just happen to have several sheet of 4'X8'X1" foam sheets we'd like to use...
