Yes. I took it off to clean and check on the diverter after replacing the HLS. It was rusted on the inside of the manifold.

Does anyone know what this does and what part number to replace on the manifold? Was cleaning manifold and saw that this is rusting on the inside.

how do i thaw out a pool pump that iced over? thanks. power went out around midnight SUnday/Monday. and the pumps stopped and froze. power is back on so i wanted to thaw out so i can run as cold temps are expected again in houston tonight.

Keith, The sleeve is pvc. It seems the cement holding in the sleeve was compromised and no longer holds it in place. Some of the dirt inside the hole washed out so i need to backfill and re-seat the sleeve. the umbrella fits snug/nicely in the sleeve. Am looking for recommendations on how...

Hi folks, I have an umbrella sleeve that popped out from the concrete...what's the recommendation on how to repair? The deck looks to be 3-4 inches deep and the sleeve definitely hits dirt. I can take some pics later this evening. Thanks in advance! Peter

yes there is a bunch of that...pool is still brownish...so i need to clean the filters, then clean again after the algae? this is the first time i've ever had algae....thanks.

Thanks for the quick reply Jim. I just cleaned the filters a month (they are about 5 years old but do not have any tears and the binding straps are still good). but just looked at the filter pressure and it may be the problem. i'll clean filters tomorrow and hope that that solves the issue...

Thanks for all the help folks. Replaced another capacitor on the PB4 with 124-149MFD 165VAC and ensured that the booster was primed....voila!

impeller is fine after taking off six bolts and confirming it is spinning with shaft. I also looked in the volute and no obstructions. However, it is easier to spin than a new pump. and it makes a squealing noise when i rotate. is that indicative of a bad motor?
