Thanks for the super-fast response. All the ProLogic controller does right now is let me automate turning on 'high speed' for a couple of hours a day, and then 'low speed' for a couple of hours a day... are you saying that it should work the exact same for the new SP3215X20XE? my installer...

Two weeks after it was filled with water, PB delivered our Polaris 480 yesterday and got it all hooked up. Immediately after a test run, he unhooked it however, and turned off everything in the pool so that all the flagstone could dry out for 48 hours before workers come to apply the sealant...

PB tells me that we need to 'brush' the pool twice a day for the first couple of weeks to work all the plaster dust and dirt down to the drains... so morning and nite we spend 15 minutes or so and sweep all the refuse down to the deep end. On the spur of the moment, even with the cool morning...

Scheduled for today are (a) electricians to run line to pool equip and lights and to arbor, (b) arbor guy to put finishing touches on it and hang outdoor ceiling fan, and maybe (c) plumbers to finish a bit of work before decking starts later in the week.

After work, the PB took us to see a few of his pools, mainly to finalize our choice of plaster and what size peagravel for the decking. It was nice to see that what we had chosen from online photos was as nice in person, so we're sticking with the 'Negril' Beadcrete/Pebble from Azteca Pebble...

Plumbers showed up this morning to dig their trenches and run their lines... and the gunite cleanup crew showed up to, well, clean things up after Friday's gunite-o-rama

Well wouldn't you KNOW it!! Even with our record setting drought this year, if I heard the weatherman correctly, it rained more yesterday than any single day since July/2010... so the PB let us know this morning that our dig is pushed off till Wednesday. I can be patient!! I swear I can!! Grrrrr
