I noticed light staining starting to reappear the other day. My PH had risen to 7.5 so I added a bottle of Metal Magic. It appears to to removed it for now. I need to buy several bottles to have on hand this summer to keep the stains away. That stuff is $30 a bottle now ...

I gave up on it for now. My stains haven't reappeared yet and I have more AA. I have one bottle of Metal Magic but need more if Im going the route. Its expensive! I stuffed my polyfil in a skimmer sock and placed it in the skimmer when I tried it.

I’m doing a AA treatment as we speak. I have polyfill in the skimmer but I had to remove it due to it getting clogged. So much wind in my area that the neighbors blooms etc from their bradford pear trees are filling my pool daily. His trees are very far away but the high winds blow everything...

I used 3 lbs the 1st time I did an AA treatment. It was too much. I just did another AA treatment and used 2 lbs. It took overnight to completely clear the stains but it’s much better. Got on amazon for $20 for 2.2 lbs.

PB came out today and fixed my suction side leak. It seemed like it was coming from the top of the pump from a pvc joint/union. I guess I’ll pay the bill now 🤑

PB came out today and and the pump is running perfectly with no air in the basket.

Looks like it may be coming from the top. It was wet when I went out today. I’ll call my PB tomorrow

I removed the lid and wiped down the rubber seal and lid. I couldn’t tell if the rubber ring could be removed? I lubed it up and filled w it water and started up the pump again. Still getting air bubbles. Poured water over the lid and it seems to stop the air from coming in 🤷🏻‍♂️
